Hello everyone! I will be reviewing some few products that I had been using during this past month.
The older I get the more I focus on my skincare routine.
This is all my personal opinion. My skin is a combination of normal and oily skin.
Adding to an environmental factor, I live on a tropical island and I work in a stressful environment.
The Ordinary: BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution
I’ve seen people raving about these products. That it gives a good peeling and you see the result.
I wasn’t skeptical and the price surprised me for a product in Sephora. It cost $8 and a little goes a long way. I’m not even halfway through the bottle since I only use it once a week due during my night skin routine. Later on the next day I applied for my SPF.
Biossance: Squalane + BHA Pore-Minimizing Toner
I personally don’t spend $28 on a toner but I was in a desperate need to find something that would help me minimize my pores. Luckily, an employee of Sephora recommended this product and since then I end up marrying this amazing toner. I started seeing the result within a week. I apply two times a day and I just love it. The package is plastic free for those who want to be a bit more sustainable.
Floral Street: Sunflower Pop Eau De Parfum
The same employee who recommended to me the Biossance pore-minimizing toner also recommended this perfume! I wish I had the bigger one and I’m trying to save it until I find the same perfume but bigger so it can last me a bit longer.
Vincent Van Gogh is an amazing impressionist painter and I think this fragrance does catch what would smell like the Sunflower painting (aside the linseed oil pun intended). It’s very fresh with a hint of citrus. It’s perfect for this hot Summer weather.

Lip/Power: Matte Liquid Lipstick in Tiphaine
I never heard of this brand before and I got it on one of the monthly beauty boxes of Allure.
I started using it not so long ago and I’m impressed by how long it lasts and I don’t get a lot of smudges when it comes taking the face mask off. It is bold and vibrant red just the way I want and most likely Dita Von Teese would wear it too.
Herbivore: Aquarius Pore Purifying BHA Cream
This is so far one of the best facial cream I have ever used!!! My forehead oily skin is no longer that oily and is now more normal-ish. Within days I noticed the difference. I apply both day and night with my Biossance toner. It feels so good and the result is just amazing.
I do want to try other of their products since I’m very pleased with the results.
I also wonder if they have other zodiac signs?
These are all the products that I’ve been loving so much this month and let’s see what other products I will fall in love with next month.
