Hello, everyone, Happy New Year!
I feel like sharing my 2021 from what I accomplished during that year.
Some of the things I did were a bit risky but I managed to get out of my comfort zone. I’m forever thankful for all the support.
So let’s start with the first!
I started pole dancing
I started pole dancing with a good friend of mine and since then I’ve been hook-up with
pole dancing. It has been helping me a lot with my self-esteem. I also got myself a pole dance which I’m waiting to arrive so I can talk more in the future.
I feel that it’s a quite an accomplished helping during my personal self growths.
I painted my first mural project
I still can’t believe that I actually worked as a mural assistant and I even got paid for it. Honestly, I’m very proud of this art project. I wrote a post from my own perspective from this amazing experience. Painting my first mural project. I personally believe this is one of my biggest accomplishments during the year 2021.
Working as a personal assistance on a blogging event
Last semester I was taking marketing. Which I personally enjoyed and my professor is cool and knows what he talks about when it comes to SEO, social media marketing, and basically anything about technology and how to market ourselves.
So he invited me to network with influencers and other people related to the blogging world and I can assure you that I really enjoyed that day. Also, the free coffee was a win-win for me.
I can say that it’s quite an accomplishment.
I had my first art exhibition
It was a nerve wrecking feeling but also a rewarding feeling.
I was very stressed about what should I exhibit even tho I do regret that I dint showed my other artwork. I’m still happy and proud of this accomplishment. I basically did everything by myself from printing my artwork, the card presentation, setting up the table, and so on… Still can’t believe that I accomplished that.
I made some interesting connections and now I have another exhibition during autumn 2022.
I quit my job
Yes, I quit my job. I have no regrets about quitting my job. I do admit that I enjoyed working there but over time I wasn’t feeling happy working there. There were more cons than pros but now my mental health is in a much better place and I feel that I can create more art.
To add a bit more explanation. I enjoy teaching and helping but due to lack of employees, opening and closing shifts, and of course the mismanagement was taking a toll on me from my mental health, physical health, and my creativity. Many who worked in that place quitted for the exact same reason. The payment was pretty decent but the mismanagement was another thing. Also no microwave. (can you believe there is no microwave at your workplace?). So yes quitting was quite nerve wrecking and I personally did not bother to give my two weeks’ notice. I’m now in a much happier place.
I’m now an art professor
From quitting my job as a paint server, dealing with ceramics, serving drinks, opening and closing the POS box, cleaning the place, and again opening and closing the workshop.
I’m now an art professor.
I’m super happy that I’m an art professor and also super excited to teach everything that I know. I wrote a proposal to my university that took me about a month or so with emails back and forth of the plans, budgets, methodology, materials, etc…And it finally got approved. All I know is that 2022 will be better than 2021.
Ending my year 2021 that an accomplished of landing a new better job opportunity.
What comes next now in 2022?
Well right now there are a few things that I’m keeping it as a secret but I can confirm that there will be a new art exhibition hopefully during autumn 2022.
