Hey, everyone, I hope many of you are doing well.
In this post I will be talking about my 2021 goals. I did not write a new year resolution since I personally don’t believe in those types of things.
I got inspired by the lovely blogger Nons Mshengu in her blog post When You Need To Check In With Your Goals.
So, I felt like writing about how I manage to do this halfway through 2021.
I got hired!
Okay, so for years I’ve been somewhat struggling on finding a part-time job where I could enjoy. I manage to find the job where I can use my knowledge skills.
I drop 40lbs
Can’t believe it’s been a year and I manage to lose 40+lbs. I haven’t finished my journey but I’m finally losing weight. Which is something for another post.
Kicking ass with my roller skates
I haven’t stopped roller skating and I’m improving my roller skating skill at the skatepark from jumping in and out from the bowl and soon I will master the cartwheel with my roller skates and the flying kick!
I wrote a post about a year ago Going Back Roller Skating and just noticed my own improvement is amazing. Plus I finally got my Moxi Beach Bunny which I also added on my Birthday Wishlist 2020. I may not get them on my birthday but at least I got them in November. (Thank mom!)
Reaching my financial goal
Soon I will turn 26 and that means that I have to pay for my own healthcare. Thankfully my job pays well and I have a vision board that helps me manifest on reaching a short term financial goal and everytime I reach my financial goal I increase the number.
Increasing my DA
I do admit that this year I struggled with blogging due to balancing my work, my university, my mental health, and my hobbies but something that I am still currently working on is making plans on writing good contents and trying to add as much as possible. To see your DA score I personally use moz.com
Spending time with friends
Even though (which I’m really thankful for!) I haven’t seen all my friends and the majority of us are keeping our social distance and keeping our circle small. Regardless that some of us are vaccinated we are still keeping our circle small. We usually hang out in places that are open air like open restaurants and skateparks.
