Hello, everyone, on this post I visited a coffee shop in Salinas!
It was completely unplanned due to the fact that I was working on a project there and I encountered a cute local café!
I couldn’t really try their whole menu due to the fact that I was only in Salinas from late Friday to early Sunday from my mural project but out of a successful celebration my colleague and I decided to treat ourselves.
The Sweet Spot is in the heart of Salina and it is pretty much within walking distance so no need to use transportation unless you are on the coast.
We ordered a limited-time drink of Gingerbread coffee and it was super amazing. The detail is super adorable with cute gingerbread men cookies, whip cream, and the green red sprinkle making it very festivities.
For our late breakfast and early brunch, we both went for Guava Cheese Pancakes with a side of sweet potato fries. It came with egg and bacon. We both ordered parcha (I think in English it is passion fruit?) and I just love when I see the seeds on my drinks making it more bitter and tasty. It gives a balance to my Guava Cheese Pancake sweet and savory.
Overall I was a bit sad that I couldn’t try their whole menu but it gave me a nice impression and if I ever visit Salina again The Sweet Spot would be the first place that I would go back to for breakfast and brunch.
The Sweet Spot is located in Salinas and Guayama
Want to visit another place in Puerto Rico check these two locals out!
I don’t like coffee but this looks so festive, cute and yummy. I love the soft gingerbread, the proper stuff is delicious! Thank you for sharing. I hope you have a great Christmas.

Thank you! I was a bit worried that it was going to be overly sweet but thankfully it was a perfect balance.
It looks great, I’d love to go to Puerto Rico, it’s a lovely place and try the gingerbread coffee.
