Hello, everyone, on this topic, I will be talking about my personal experience as an influencer blogger. Broke But Flawless started in 2016 one of my simple goals has always been to be noticed.
Luckily, as someone who was born and raised in the social media world and had the scene kid phase in the early 2000s, I already knew what I exactly want to write about.
So, what have I started writing? Makeup and cosmetics focusing on the drugstore makeup and some few high-ends later on I started sharing a bit of my personal life.
I started gaining new followers and some of them became my penpals. The best thing about writing is sharing an opinion but also learning to expand on different topics. Sometimes I write the best articles and I get a lot of viewers and comments and sometimes they are “okay”.
One of the simple tricks that I manage to gain my DA is simply by sharing my post on Twitter. Adding so many hashtags that now one day I have a hashtag bank whenever I get to do the queues. While Broke But Flawless keeps growing over the years I also started earning small incomes by simply writing.
My friend’s joke that I’m an influencer. At first, I would brush it off but with the law of attraction I’m an influencer and I don’t work hard and play hard for my blog. No, I simply don’t believe in work hard, play hard. I just simply dedicate my time and give some love to my blog. Knowing that over the years I immigrated from host to host, I invested in themes which I personally think It’s the hardest part due to seeing so many beautiful themes. That I don’t know which one to go for.
There is no secret to becoming an influencer blogger. All you have to do is dedicate time and invest in your blog. You don’t have to invest $1,000 to have an amazing theme. You can go for less like $20 from a small independent graphic designer.
Also, one of the importance of wanting to become an amazing influencer is to read, comment, and share other bloggers’ posts. Connect with them. I can assure you they’re super amazing and super kind.
I recently read a post on Forbes which I personally believe can give you better advice on Influencer Marketing. They may talk about books but it can give you transparency.
Also, Jessica Bishop a wedding blogger talks about her experience on how she became an influencer. She of course talks about her experience on how she became an influencer.
The way she shares her experience is amazing and mentioning keywords like “collaboration” is one of the important things when it comes to blogging.
What is the best blogging? Finding your own niche, seeing what your audience loves, meeting new people, you can work in any place as long as it has some wi-fi.
I do hope you enjoy this post. I honestly have no secret on how I succeeded in becoming an influencer and started earning income from blogging.
By simply writing, sharing, and connecting you can succeed with your own world of blogging.

It’s funny as I hate to call myself an influencer and prefer blogger, but I guess if we influence one person’s decision to do something, try something or buy something, then that’s influence. Best of luck with the rest of your blogging and influencing journey. It’s an addictive passion for sure!

I do admit that it feels weird calling myself an influencer even tho as you mentioned before we all influence people. And thank you I do wish you all the best on your blogging journey.

Love to read about other blogger’s stories and how they started out! I am still on the fence about being called an influencer, but what is at the base for me is sharing content I love and that can be interesting as well as collaborating with others x

I’m new in my blogging journey but enjoying the process. I look forward to engaging and collaborating with other bloggers as I believe it is beneficial to both parties. It’s so great being able to learn from established bloggers across all niches. It’s nice to be a part of a community of people that uplift and support each other while encouraging everyone’s success.
Thank you for sharing your story!
