Hello, everyone, yes I know it been awhile.
This is my first travel post.
My first spring break in New York!
I used JetBlue flight which honestly was pretty comfortable right.
Everything is a very short review getting straight to the point.
Seeing the Statue of Liberty
It was pretty meh for me. I honestly see no point of seeing and visiting the Statue of Liberty.
Visiting The Empire State Building
Not worth spending almost $60. It was over crowded. The only nice part was the elevator…
Visiting MoMa
I spend around four hours seeing each artwork analyzing and appreciating the techniques of each artist. What is my advice on what not to do? Don’t push people out of your way to simply take a selfie of Vincent Van Gogh Starry Night. That’s just rude…Visiting any New York art museum is something that you have to plan knowing you may spend the whole day seeing each artwork.
There many amazing artist like Hilma af Klimt, Francis Bacon, René Magritte, and many other artist.
Go to Basquiat exhibition
If you ever get the chance to visit buy a Basquiat ticket exhibition. The exhibition is in Chelsea around 15 minutes away from the Subway train.
What I love about his exhibition is you can listen to his playlist as if you are in his studio.
By the end of the exhibition, there is a corridor that leads you to a lounge area where he party.
Barn Joo Nomad
Barn Joo Nomad is on 6th Ave. It is a Korean restaurant. My mom, my sister, and I love their food. We ate their chicken wings, a chicken sandwich, and their dumplings. If I visit New York again it will be one of my top places to eat again there.
Trattoria Dell’Arte
I was starving after spending the whole day at MoMA. They make the best Italian pizza in New York. It was a sweet fennel sausage with mushroom.
The waiter was quite charming.
Trattoria Dell’Arte is in the 700 7
Ave. Street nearby Central Park.
Shout out to the handsome waiter for giving me free chocolate!
I do plan to visit New York during my spring break again and take more picture during my stay.
