Hello, everyone, yes I know it’s been awhile since my last post.
I’ve been planning on writing a short makeup review since August. Yeah, I know, can’t you believe that? You can blame my thesis from consuming all of my hobbies and my never ending love of blogging.
Let’s start with a well known makeup brand that is Charlotte Tilbury. I tried to find the Invisible UV Flawless Primer SPF 50 but unfortunately, it wasn’t available at my local Sephora store but I did manage to get the Mini Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray.
Now I’m personally a bit skeptical when it comes to setting spray. I personally haven’t got much luck on finding a good setting spray that can hold my makeup for more than 8 hours.
After a never ending research I decided to go for Charlotte Tilbury since I always wanted to try their products and I felt like splurging some of their products on my birthday. To add a bit of detail about my skin from it is…Well, I can mention that my skin is an oily combination. My forehead is where it gets a bit oily and from the eyeshadow parts I love using colorful eyeshadows and orange neutral tones. So yes, as someone who works in an art museum I always need to look flawless no matter what that also includes outside of my workspace.
After getting the mini version of the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush setting spray. I have to admit that it does hold my makeup. I rarely retouch them.
As I mentioned before I only managed to find the mini version and now my bottle is half empty which I hope on my next visit to Sephora I can find a bigger bottle using this almost every day. The price might be a little bit out of my budget but I won’t mind splurging from time to time with any of their products.
The packaging is “old glamorous, meet the 21st century glamorous”.
As we all know their product design is iconic. They are simple, yet glamorous and iconic.
I personally wont surprise if Dita Von Teese and Violet Chachki if they have all their products especially the lipsticks!
Anyway, I went a bit sideways here. The setting spray works wonderfully but if you are applying eyeliners I personally will have to be very careful and keep my eyes closed (with a fan on) to make sure that they are dry again.
Charlote Tilbury Makeup is cruelty-free and it had been certified by the Leaping Bunny program. Perfect for anyone who wants a high-end cruelty-free products!
I’ve never used a setting spray (mainly because I don’t often wear make-up) but can see how useful it is! I like the fact that it’s cruelty-free too (always something I look for).
Loving your thoughts on this setting spray, as it sounds fabulously effective. It is a bonus that it comes in a mini size, as I always like to try something in a small batch before committing to a larger bottle. 🙂
I haven’t tried any Charlotte Tilbury products before. But they always sound great. I haven’t used a setting spray in a while actually. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and product pictures.
Lauren.
I really love this and found it amazing all summer! I also love that it’s non-drying x

This sounds like a brilliant setting spray – I actually need one so might have to give this a shot x
I’ve been using setting powders, but I’ve been curious about setting sprays lately. Will definitely check out this CT one – maybe try the mini first. Thanks for the review.
