Curling Your Eyelashes
Eyelash curlers have fallen out of fashion, and even those that do use them often use them incorrectly. A lot of women clamp down the curlers, count to three, and call it done. This creates an unnatural crease in the eyelashes.
Instead, start at the base of your lashes. Pump the curler three times. Move to the middle section of the eyelashes and pump three times. Lastly, pump three times at the tip of your lashes. You’ll get a gorgeous set of lashes that frame the eyes, and a curl that lasts.
Fake Falsies With Baby Powder
If you love the way that false eyelashes look, but don’t have the time or the patience to put them on, use baby powder. Curl your eyelashes, and apply a coat of mascara. Dip a clean mascara wand or cotton bud into your baby powder. Sweep it along the underside of the lashes, and add another coat of mascara. The mascara will stick to the powder, creating dark fibres that will make your lashes look fuller and longer.
Dry Shampoo Technique
Dry shampoo is one of the best time-savers. It’s a big help when you don’t have time to wash or blow-dry your hair. While it’s a great addition to your bathroom cabinet, if you use it in the wrong way and don’t give it enough time to work, you can end up with white spots or hair that still looks oily.
Dry shampoo is a fine aerosol powder that will soak up extra oil when applied to the roots of the hair. It leaves a fresh scent, mimicking the effects of washing your hair.
For the best results, apply the dry shampoo heavily to the roots and work it in with your fingers in the same way as you would a normal shampoo. Give the dry shampoo five to ten minutes to soak up oil. Then, brush your hair out, and it will look clean and shiny, with no white residue.
Pouty Lips
There are lots of products on the market that promise to plump your lips up, from tingling lip glosses to a cosmetic lip tattoo. A lot o these products work by irritating the lips, which can be uncomfortable. Apart from the tattoo, they also often only give short-term effects. You can make your pout last by using a little eyeshadow for a volumizing effect. Put on lipstick and then brush some shimmery ivory eyeshadow onto the centre of your lips to create a 3D effect. You can create the same effect with a clear gloss.

Ooo, some fabulous tips! I LOVE dry shampoo, but I do find there’s always a white look at my roots so I leave it then work it in then use hair spray and that helps a lot to keep my hair all looking the same colour. Mascara is my go to make up, I couldn’t live without it so the curler tip is definitely one I’ll be using.
